Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Vaulted (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Vaulted is a personal collectibles catalog that lets you record, organize, value, and manage collectibles such as cards, coins, poker chips, comics, and books. The Service includes optional AI-assisted features and optional integrations with third-party services.

3. Accounts and Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
  • Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Upload content that is illegal, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share.
  • Misuse AI features, including submitting content designed to abuse or overload the system.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the collection data, photos, notes, and other content you add to Collector Vault. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you — for example, to run AI identification or to render your catalog. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not sell it.

6. AI-Generated Valuations and Recommendations

Vaulted uses AI to suggest item identifications, estimated values, and hold/sell recommendations. These outputs are informational only. They are not financial advice, investment advice, or a professional appraisal. AI estimates can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, and actual market values may differ significantly. You are solely responsible for your own buying, selling, insurance, and other decisions. Always verify values independently — for example, through a qualified appraiser or current market listings — before acting on any AI-generated estimate or recommendation.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Anthropic for AI processing, eBay for optional purchase-history import, and hosting and database providers. Your use of optional integrations may be subject to those providers' own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any valuation or data will be accurate.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vaulted and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service — including reliance on AI-generated valuations or recommendations. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete your account data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
